Fantastic weather so me & Adam got out and took advantage. Adam's longest ride to-date, 42 miles.

I also took a demo-set of handbuilt wheels out to try - wow!! What a difference, I'd intended to upgrade the wheels on the bike, but today has confirmed it.

Thanks to Chris at BIcycle Repairman/Cycleart for the expert bike-fit sessions and the demo of the wheels.

Out again as a trio tomorrow with Stretch, looking forward to it.

Stretch here - Lance's cleverer, more handsome, younger brother (yeah Lance aint got no degree in Mathematics.... just an HND in Chemistry, that's why the fool got caught). Anyway, I just thought I'd update our dear readers on the weekend's riding. Anusol Man had suggested we might be a trio on Sunday morning but alas Paco the Snail decided to stay in bed! We decided to retrace last week's route out of Slaley, on to Blanchland, through Emundbyers and past Muggleswick (no I'm not making these names up). Weather was even better than last week and Anusol Man was fairing well on the climbs despite doing 40 miles the previous day. That said he did return home to a well earned pint of EPO administered by the drugs queen of the North East, Nurse Gladys Emannuelle! Lucky blighter!
