Local farmer thought he'd spotted a bargain on the Russian eBay site, and put a bid in.

Thought he'd bought 4 Ladas for 20 quid.

Imagine his surprise when these creatures turned-up!!

Stretch Armstrong

Stretch here, Lance's infinitely more handsome, younger and more fertile brother (I've still got two swingers!) -
That's no Llama. It's an Alpaca and well you know it, Anusol man. I've been quiet on the old posting front of late, because old Uni-ball (that's Lance to the uninitiated of this blog), myself and some disgraced banker from down South have set up a money/wool spinning enterprise in deepest darkest Northumberland. And last Sunday, I thought I spotted some weirdo in lycra with a 'thigh' phone trying to take pictures. Anyway the chump from the 'Big Smoke' that we've teamed up with we affectionately call 'Plum' (cause he's a bit of a knacker) - hence we called the website http://www.plumoflondon.com/index.php .- look it up, it's real! We've come up with the idea of making Alpaca wool cycling shorts, socks, tops,..you name it, even Garmin covers! And the suckers down South love it.
The picture you have there is of Pantani Paca - he's the one with big ears, going slightly bald and climbs like a champion. I'm surprised you weren't charged by Petacchi Paca - he's a bit of a sprinter and was hanging out with Pantani and Pedro-Delgado-Paca in the top field that day. Likes the whiff of Anusol you know and really goes for it.....if you know what I mean. Your Assos knickers would have been ripped to shreds....... Alpaca wool's the future my friend!
