Ronnie Biggs and the crew make it to France! Michael Parkinson won't see a penny of the loot. Looks like a holiday to me!

Enjoy the bierre and ride safe. Keep up the blog.

Davide (French David),

Stretch here. Lance, my much older and less handsome, cheating brother, has just phoned to say that Specialized have issued a product recall on the Cobl-Gobl-R seat post - pronounced cobble gobbler for the uninitiated who don’t like to dress up in tight, stretchy, gaudy coloured outfits at the weekends and expose themselves to the unsuspecting public (hmmm – sounds very much like the Big Market on a Saturday night?). Apparently, the carbon fibre on your new seat post has been woven in such a way that on certain road surfaces, particularly continental Europe, the user (that’s you) may experience uncontrollable oscillations leading to catastrophic failure! Apparently the Specialized website provides a list of reputable proctologists (that’s an arse doctor to the laymen amongst us) and your nearest one, just in case you need him, is a Dr. A.R Sehole (common French name apparently). So have experienced any uncontrollable oscillations on your trip so far?

Anyway, keep on blogging – Michael Parkinson will be very proud of you.
Stretch.
